Sweet Sounds followed-up on her debut win at Tipperary earlier this month, as she took the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction Race.
A three length victor at Tipperary, the Ger Lyons trained daughter of Vocalised was expected to make it two from two this evening, opening on-course at evens, before going off the clear favourite at 9/10.
Settled in third by Colin Keane, the Qatar Racing Limited owned bay took closer order approaching the straight, and hit the front with over two furlongs to race.
She was soon ridden and kept on well for pressure, seeing off the challenge of Massif Central by three parts of a length.
The runner-up was returned at 7/2 under Kevin Manning for John Murphy, while newcomer Mabrouka was three lengths back in third.
Lyons said in the aftermath: "I'm a bit worried about our string at the moment as a few of them have snotty noses. She was getting all the allowances as she was bought so cheap, and she did it well.
"Colin said he got there a mile too soon, and she would not want the ground any faster. She's gone from A to B to C to D since she's come into the yard, and any clown could train her!"
