Two time bumper winner Sweeps Hill made it a winning debut over hurdles after he landed the Visit Tipperary Maiden Hurdle under David Casey.
Casey raced his mount on the outer throughout and hit the front after the last for a one and three parts of a length win over Jowango
Winning trainer Kiely said afterwards: “That was a nice start, it probably wasn’t the greatest race but he jumped well and hopefully he’ll improve from that.”
“He’ll probably need to improve from that. We’ve no immediate plans for him we’ll take it one step at a time and he’ll tell us how good he is.”
