Leading lady rider Nina Carberry was at her usual best when winning the concluding Killarney Racegoers Club Ladies Flat Race aboard Mediolanum
Carberry produced the son of Milan to lead inside the final furlong and deny Takeyourcapoff and Kate Harrington by a length.
Winning trainer Charlie Swan said afterwards: "Nina was brilliant there. It was worth the €200 fine I got for not nominating a rider in time."
"He's a lovely horse who is improving all of the time. He will probably go to Doncaster Sales now as his owners always like to sell their horses."
