Under Surveillance proved far superior to her rivals in the last at Kilbeggan, the Summer Party Pack Discount Group Booking INH Flat Race.
Fourth and fifth on her first two starts, the Andrew Lynch trained daughter of Flemensfirth opened on-course at 11/1 this evening, before going off at 8s in the colours of owner Aidan Murray.
Settled in mid-division by Conor Orr, the chestnut victor swept through to lead from two furlongs out and stretched clear inside the final furlong, going on to score by nine and a half lengths. Gateway To Europe (16/1) finished second under Richie Deegan for Brian Nolan, while newcomer Present In Court (11/4) was another three lengths back in third. Jonnigraig was sent off the 6/4 favourite and he finished a disappointing fifth.
Lynch said afterwards: "I've always thought a lot of this one but she ran twice on heavy ground and didn’t like it. Her mother didn’t like it either and we said that we’d give her a break.
"She works great, and she opened up fairly quick turning into the straight. She is a great jumper, and we might go to Galway now for a maiden hurdle. Hopefully she'll get that ground.
"Conor (22) is an older brother of Oisin and he rides out for us in the yard. That's his third winner in the space of a month (since returning from the UK)."
The winner is out of Coscorrig who won six times for the late Dessie Hughes, with her most significant success coming in a Listed contest over fences at Fairyhouse in 2011.
