Spinning sprouts wings to win Derby

The Tom Hogan trained Spinning Wings came from a long way back to eventually run out a 5 1/2 lengths winner of The Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Derby at The Curragh.

Hogan said: 'Shane (Foley) gave her a great ride, he did what I told him, settling her towards the rear and coming wide for the better ground in the straight. The better ground proved to be a huge advantage.'
