Spanish Rose who drifted from 9/4 to 4/1, came forward nicely from her debut fifth at Navan to win the Sands Of Mali @Ballyhane Stud Fillies Maiden in decisive fashion.

In front from early in the straight under Ben Coen, the daughter of Estidhkaar stretched clear in the final furlong to beat 11/10 favourite Muhaarar's Girl by five lengths.

Natalia Lupini sent out the winner for Mrs Tracey O'Hare, wife of Bar One Racing supremo Barney O'Hare, and her training partner Craig Bryson said: “She ran a bit green the first day and we thought she'd sharpen up for that run, she had done at home.

“She came here witha nice chance and she's one to look forward to going forward.

“She quickened upwell and Ben said she's still a little green and will keep improving. “We'll look at what kind of mark she gets and Natalia will have a look and see what there is for her for the rest of the season.

“It's nice to get a winner for these colours because Barney is a big supporter.”
