Song Of Earth was produced to claim Bold Emperor between the final two fences in the extended two mile five handicap chase in Fairyhouse.
Bold Emperor put in a fine shift off the front but he hadn't shaken off Song Of Earth who moved up to head him before asserting racing to the last.
He jumped it well and was kept up to his work to score by five lengths at 11/1 for trainer Mags Mullins. The runner-up went off at 10/1 and was nine lengths clear of Shes Some Doll (14/1).
Jockey Danny Mullins said: It was a good performance. He's always a horse that had threatened to put a performance like that in,” said Danny Mullins.
“He disappointed us some days but it's great to see him being able to do it on a bit of drier ground as well, it opens up plenty of options for him going into the summer.”
