The winner had been backed from 14/1 this morning and eventually went to post a 17/2 shot. “She's tough out, she's been very unlucky on her last couple of runs and I've been coming back in with excuses about not getting runs,” said McMonagle. “She's been lacking a gear over six and she's more a staying sprinter. When she jumped well I was happy to go along and I got it handy in front. “I wound it up from three-and-a-half down and it was always going to take a good one to get her as she was down to a mark again where she was up to winning. I'm delighted to get her head in front.”
