Title-chasing Colin Keane got off to a flyer on Dundalk's card with victory on Scream in the fillies' claimer.
The four-year-old filly travelled in fourth on the heels of the leaders coming into the home straight.
She was soon switched out and came with her challenge a furlong and a half out. The daughter of Vocalised took over from Ascot Dreamer and Dubai Rainbow passing the furlong pole and readily moved two and a quarter lengths clear at the line.
She was well backed from 5/1 in the morning and then from 3/1 on opening show down to 7/4 favourite.
Runner-up Dubai Rainbow was also popular at 5/2. She was a neck in front of Distant Mirage (14/1).
Ger Lyons said: “She's good and consistent and she's dropped down the weights.
“I told the boys that when they go below (a mark of) 70 I don't want them and they agreed that I could head her for this race and we agreed the price.
“The way she's won you'd expect her to be claimed and I'd wish whoever does the very best of luck.
“She's good and honest, she operates up here so she's a ready-made horse and ready to rock.
“She's been good for the syndicate. I thought she was going to be a bit better than she is and maybe I was confusing that she wanted different ground and things but she's honest.
“It keeps Colin in the hunt for the moment and keeps it interesting.”
The gap between jockeys' title-race leader Donnacha O'Brien and Keane is now three (105 - 102).
There were eight claims in for Scream after her win. She was claimed by John M Keogh to be trained by Shane Duffy. Distant Mirage was claimed back by Johnny Levins.
