Sands Cove (13/8 into 5/4) still has a bit to go to match his impressive bumper debut win but he did manage to justify favouritism in the Cashel Maiden Hurdle at Clonmel.
Like the first winner, Carries Darling Sands Cove is by Flemensfirth and the David Casey ridden winner scored by two lengths from King Boyne Senior
Winning trainer Charlie Swan explained: "He's a nice horse. He shows us a lot at home but he'd be better if we got him to switch off a bit.
"He hadn't a run for nine months and we were the whole time trying to settle him.
"He got keen after he won his bumper for some reason. We'll probably go for a winners of one now but we also might have a look and see what handicap mark he gets." (TW & EM)
