With cheek-pieces deployed for the second time Adaliya followed up her success over the same mile trip here on December 15th, in the Ashbrook Foods Handicap at Dundalk tonight.
Again the Footstepsinthesand filly went from the front, and this time Conor Hoban's mount held on well by a length from War Hero
Backed from 7/1 into 5/1, Adaliya pleased her trainer, Michael Halford who said: "She did it well and she's still getting stronger.
"She's in the sales next week, in Goffs, and she'll probably go there. I'd say there is plenty of racing left in her. She enjoys her racing out in front and loves that surface, skips along.
"I'd say she's only getting stronger and better. Her attitude is good, she's a very sound filly and genuine.
"She's easy trained and doesn't take much work. It's seven weeks since she ran and I'd say she's after strengthening in that time and she'll probably strengthen again.
"She had decent form on the turf as well."
