At odds of 22/1 Runyon Rattler stole the show under 7Ib claimer James O'Sullivan in the featured At The Races Mullacurry Cup Handicap Hurdle at Bellewstown.
Philip Rothwell 's charge led and disputed in the two and a half miler, and he took over before three out.
Ridden to assert before two out, Runyon Rattler jumped slightly left at last, and he kept on well on the run-in to defeat Sam King by four and a half lengths.
O'Sullivan said: "Maybe the step up in trip (helped). The last day I rode him in Wexford I thought he got caught for toe.
"He's been unfortunate not to win. He was just caught on the line in Punchestown. There's not a horse in the country that deserves it more."
D.N. Russell, rider of Jarob (GB) trained by Andrew Lynch, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered with a circuit to go.
Patrick Griffin, trainer of Heist reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge wants a further trip.
