Redera completed a double on the day for the trainer, jockey combination of Tony Martin and Ruby Walsh, as he ran out a convincing five length winner of the fourth race on the card the Join the Tote Go Racing Club Handicap Hurdle.
The son of Chevailer had three wins on the level to his name before today having won at Ballinrobe in '08 and Bellewstown in '09 for his then trainer Jim Gorman. While he won one on the all-weather at Dundalk last year for his present yard.
The winning trainer said afterwards, "He got a fright on his last start when he jumped too big over the first few hurdles and that was him finished.
"He is a little horse who has had his troubles but I'm delighted with him now.
"Two Dubs own him Dave Fields and John Touhy, this is their first horse with me."
