Red letter day for O'Sullivan in Killarney opener Darragh O'Sullivan was as cool as a cucumber as he partnered his first winner aboard Dynamic Force, for boss Fozzy Stack, at Killarney this afternoon. The 16-year-old tracked the front-running Rick Dalton in the mile claimer before moving up to dispute two furlongs from home on the 10/3 shot. He asked his mount to kick on over a furlong from home and was tidy in the closing stages as he kept the Kodiac gelding going for a length-and-a-quarter success over Mindthegap. Dynamic Force was making his third outing for Stack, having won three times in Britain for Robert Cowell. The winning rider said:- "That was great and thanks to Fozzy and the owners for giving me the ride. “I'm with Fozzy every morning and everyone, including Joey (Sheridan), Andy (Slattery) and Seamie (Heffernan) have been great to me. "I had finished second on Cross Border (trained by his father Danny) previously at Naas and today's race went to plan - I made plenty use of him, he was happy and when I got to the front he loved it." He added:- "I was pony racing for five years, had 14 winners and thanks to Mam and Dad for driving me around the country! "I'm tall enough so going jumping is a possibility for me." There were successful claims for Dynamic Force (for E8,000) by Ado McGuinness and Chou Chou (E4,000) by Kenneth James Mullen. (Quotes by Tom Weekes)
