Red-hot Cavalry Master seals 105/1 treble for de Bromhead Strong-travelling Cavalry Master brought up his four-timer in the novice chase at Killarney and gave trainer Henry de Bromhead a treble on the card (paid 104.88/1). He was on the bridle as he got the measure of the leader, and stablemate, Myth Buster on the run to the third last. The 5/2 second favourite increased the gap at the penultimate fence and was soon ridden by Mike O'Connor. He was driven out on the run-in to score by a reduced margin of a length and a half from Hewick (18/1) who found plenty on the run-in. Myth Buster (15/2) dropped to third, beaten six lengths by the winner. O'Connor said: “He’s a great servant and is really consistent. He seems to enjoy himself around Killarney and was a course and distance winner. “He’s a nice horse going forward. He enjoys a bit of an ease but was okay on that ground as well. He’s a bit of an all-rounder.” Leac An Scail Lady and Cappucimix also scored in Killarney for de Bromhead. Cavalry Master started his winning run in a beginners' chase at Killarney in April before landing novice chases also in Killarney and at Wexford in May and June respectively.
