Queally delighted to win "brilliant prize" with Cloudy Morning Second in the previous heat at Wexford with Tell Me Annie, Declan Queally and Darragh O'Keeffe went a place better in the Boolavogue Novice Handicap Chase through Cloudy Morning. Cloudy Morning (5s into 4s) showed his staying power over the closing couple of fences to beat Stowaway Forever and Crazyheart by seven lengths and fourteen lengths. "That was great. It was a brilliant prize to win with an eleven-year-old," said Queally. "It's funny that he is still a novice. He has been a great horse for me. He won three point-to-points earlier in the season. "He is a great horse to have and he has always done us proud. We will see where we go with him now. After running on so well the last time here over two miles I had this race mapped out for him. "We'll see what the handicapper does, but today was the plan and any race he wins after is a bonus." The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined The Jam Man, trained by Ronan M.P. McNally, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. (DM & EM)
