Planchart powered clear in the closing stages to open her account in good style in the concluding fillies maiden at Naas tonight.
The Andy Slattery-trained filly had been placed on three previous occasions but made no mistake tonight.
Declan McDonogh was handy throughout on the American-bred and hit the front with two furlongs to run in the mile contest.
The 9/1 shot kept on well inside the final furlong to post a three-and-a-quarter length victory over Just Joan
7/4 favourite Heartful aiming for a four-timer for Dermot Weld, could only finish fourth. The winner had been third at Dundalk last month and turning around form with Heartful who was second then.
"I'd like to thank the owner, Mr Garvey, as he has a number of high profile trainers. I got her to do as a yearling and he kept her with us,” said Slattery.
"Her work was a bit flat before Dundalk and I ran her there more in hope then anything. She has really turned inside out since that run.
"I'll try to get her some black type. She had a bit of trouble with her knees but we were able to rectify that over the winter."
