Onefortheditch (7/2 fav) followed up her breakthrough success at Kilbeggan when landing the first division of the (80-95) handicap hurdle under Simon Torrens

The daughter of Shirocco came from midfield to challenge three out and and led at the last to beat Lispendense by a length and a quarter.

Winning trainer Eamonn Gallagher commented: "I was wondering whether to drop her in distance for this 2m2f race but I've won this race for the same owners in the past and also finished second in it.

"This was my plan after winning in Kilbeggan and while the second and third-placed horses ran stinkers since, I can only worry about my own mare. She came back in mighty form so I really fancied her today.

"I trained her dam and both mares have been my only two winners on the racecourse as I do mostly breaking and pre-training horses. Her owners, the Sheehans from Ballyduff, have been brilliant to me and Backinthere, the dam, was a great mare for me.

"There's a big gang supporting us today and I've to thank Jimmy Mangan, Liam Burke and Micheal Griffin as I use their gallops sometimes."
