Ger Lyons sent three runners out for the Goffs Breeze Up At Dundalk 12th May Maiden and they filled the first, second and fourth spots but not in the order expected by many as 7/1 shot Tar sille beat 14/1 chance Dunne Grand with evens favourite (from 11/8), Putapriceonthat under Johnny Murtagh only fourth. Tarrsille under Champion Apprentice, Emmet McNamara, was soon in front and he kept on well under pressure inside the final furlong to prevail by two and a half lengths.
Lyons said: "It is not ideal running that many but there aren't many opportunities over six furlongs and there are only two meetings left here after tonight. Tarrsille has been disappointing but it was his first time on the surface and Emmet rode him like a motorbike around the bend and he enjoyed it." (EM)
