Aidan O´Brien and Johnny Murtagh joined forces again to take yet another Group 1 this time The Darley Irish Oaks with Moonstone It was a thrilling finish with two stable mates fighting it out till the bitter end. Colm O´Donoghue mount Ice Queen got first run, but was caught on the line by Murtagh and Moonstone.
Aidan O´Brien said, ´It was a great race, two jockeys and two fillies giving it their all. It was the usual masterful ride by Johnny and Colm gave his filly a great ride too. The winner stays well and will go for the Yorkshire Oaks.´
