O'Regan praised after stylish success on Row Denis O'Regan produced Westland Row with a well-timed swoop to land the spoils in the beginners chase at Kilbeggan. The Oscar gelding attracted some support from 12/1 into 13/2 in the two-mile-six contest and crept into contention going to the final fence. He edged ahead after landing over the last and was driven out on the run-in to score by a cosy three-and-three-quarter lengths from Minella Times. Even-money favourite Eamon High was third. The Gordon Elliott-trained winner had been third behind Robin De Carlow and tonight's market leader on his last visit to the course. “Denis gave him a great ride. He put him to sleep and he didn't even know he was at the races,” said Elliott. “It was nice for Caren (Walsh), John (Doyle) and Aidan and Kevin O'Ryan, everyone has a share in him. “We'll enjoy today now and see what happens after that.”
