Donnacha O'Brien is adamant we did not see the real Piz Badile at Epsom last weekend and that the colts best days are ahead of him.

The Ballysax Stakes winner was sent off at 9/1 to give the trainer a first Derby success but never figured under Frankie Dettori.

In the aftermath, the jockey blamed the track for the below par run, something O'Brien was in agreement with; "He's in good form, he came out of it (Derby) well. Frankie said he was a bit all over the place on the track.

"He's a very big horse and I think the Curragh will suit him better. Obviously, I'll speak to the owners but, all being well, I imagine we will look at that.

"I think he's a top-class horse and it will be a case of when we see it from him."
