Trained in Co Galway by Shane Ryder, No Hassle registered her third career success in the Leopardstown Golf & Driving Range Apprentice Handicap.

Last seen finishing sixth on her return to action at Roscommon, the Finsceal Fior seven-year-old came in for plenty of market support this evening and was returned a 6/1 chance from early shows of 12/1.

Soon settled in second by Scott McCullagh, she was pushed along in pursuit of the front-running Bold Approach from early in the straight.

Owned by the Eyre Racing Partnership, the bay victor was ridden over a furlong from home and was soon on terms with the leader, edging to the front inside the final 200 yards before going on to win by a length.

The aforementioned Bold Approach (5/1) battled on gamely when headed and filled the runner-up spot under Gabriella Hill, while St Faz (5/1) was just a neck away in third.

Returned the 7/2 favourite, Theophilos was a disappointing seventh, while the well-backed Jaafel (7/1 from 25s early) was fifth.

"I've taken my time with her as she's buzzy and there is not a lot of her in it," Ryder revealed.

"I thought when we got out of the 45-65 bracket we might struggle a bit but it looks like she has progressed a little bit again.

"I had it in mind to go schooling her over hurdles so we might just put that on hold for a little while.

"She stays well and I don't think she’ll have any bother getting a trip over hurdles. She will probably end up going that way whenever the handicapper is finished with us.

"She's versatile ground wise as long as it's not any worse than soft - summer soft she will get away with."
