Restricted trainer Paddy Twomey recorded his second career winner at Punchestown today as his Timing'severything caused a 33/1 surprise to win the concluding JLT Bumper on debut, following on from a fine effort from his Policy Breach finished second in the earlier Goffs Bumper.
Timing'severything's rider Jane Mangan has struggled to find winners in recent times and while her three pounds is hopelessly underutilised, today it helped record a two and a half lengths win over 5/2 favourite Coeur Joyeux
Mangan moved the winning son of Court Cave into contention with half a mile to race and the pair went to the front rounding the home turn, before staying on well for a fine debut win.
Twomey, who is based in Golden, Co Tipperary and is known in the breeze-up and pin-hooking circles, stated "they (Timing'severything's and Policy Breach) are two lovely horses; both are late May foals and I'm delighted they are able to do that at this stage of their lives.
"That's it for the year (for Timing'severything's) and he's only my fourth bumper runner."
