The Follow Gowran Park On Twitter Fillies’ Maiden (Div I) went to Never Forgotten (3/1) in the hands of Shane Crosse.

The Galileo filly picked up well on the stands’ side in the straight to race away for a three and a half length victory from the easy-to-back favourite So Wonderful (1/3 this morning, returned Evens).

The runner-up (rated 105) had just a head to spare over the front-running Pirate Lass (rated 77), who finished third.

The winner, unraced at two, made her debut when fifth at this course last month and then finished second at the Curragh earlier this month. She’s a daughter of 2012 Jersey Stakes winner Ishvana.

Brendan Powell, assistant to winning trainer Joseph O'Brien, said: "It was a nice performance and she has improved.

“She's laid back, such a relaxed filly, and typical of a Galileo.

'I don't think the ground will be a problem to her anywhere and you could see her being a real nice filly going over further.

“I'm not sure what's behind her, although I know the other filly had a high rating.

“She's so chilled out and relaxed that you don't know what improvement is there. Hopefully she has a nice future because she's got a good pedigree too.”
