The Jimmy Finn trained Mysloegin got a deserved win to her name, as she took the last at Galway, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares INH Flat Race.
Placed three times before today, the daughter of Golden Tornado was sent off a 5/1 chance with Liam Quinlan in the saddle.
Settled towards rear she took closer order from the five furlong pole. She was pushed along in third and squeezed for room on the entrance to the straight.
She was ridden once in the clear, and got to the front in the final 100 yards, keeping on best to score by three parts of a length.
The Martin Brassil trained Florazi finished second at 10/1 under Jamie Codd, while the gamble of the race, the Charles Byrnes trained Minnie's Secret, was a length and a half back in third.
The daughter of Beneficial was available at 14/1 this morning, opening on-course at 5s before going off the 9/4 favourite with Derek O'Connor in the saddle.
Finn, who saddled Dorkas to finish third in the previous contest, said afterwards: "She was due her turn and Liam gave her a super ride and I have to give him a lot of credit.
"The plan was to jump off a little further up but they went a right gallop and she battled in the straight. She hit the front a bit soon a few days and he landed her there at the right time today.
"Liam has ridden two on the track for me now and they have both won; Little Miss Shamrock won a hunters chase for us in Cork last Easter and he's ridden two point to pointers for me - one won and the other was second so that's not a bad old record!
"I'm delighted to get the bumper out of the way as she jumps hurdles really well and I think that'll be her game. She's homebred and please God we'll breed from her down the line too."
STEWARDS REPORT
Miss K. Harrington, rider of Pocket Dial trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount didn't travel down the hill.
