Mymomentintime seizes his opportunity The concluding five-furlong handicap produced another emphatic winner in the shape of 33/1 outsider Mymomentintime who showed plenty of pace throughout under Leigh Roche. The American-bred grabbed the lead inside the final quarter mile as 3/1 joint-favourite Swift Flight tried to cover the move. The winner kicked at the furlong pole and it was soon all over as he raced clear to beat Swift Flight by three and a quarter lengths with a similar margin back to Ever Rock in third. The winner was making just his fourth start in handicaps and had shown promise when placed at Tipperary in June. Winning trainer Susan Finn said: "I thought he couldn't get beat in Mallow the last day and I do not know what happened, maybe he didn't get the six." “He was as dead as a maggot and we blood tested him, it was one of those things. “I honestly thought he'd do that three races ago but sometimes those sprinters can take a while to cop on. “He used to be slow out and a bit of an eejit but he'll make a lovely horse next year as he's a big strong horse. “He's maturing all the time. He could go for a similar race here on Sunday week. If not I'll leave him off for the year.” Quotes from Gary Carson
