Murphy back in winners enclosure with Fields Colm Murphy was relieved to get back into the winners enclosure when Catalaunian Fields landed the odds with the minimum of fuss in the three-mile maiden hurdle at Bellewstown. Bryan Cooper kept things simple on the 8/11 shot as he made all to secure a comprehensive success. The Gigginstown gelding stretched clear of his field from the fifth last and kept on strongly in the closing stages to post an 18-length victory. "I was hoping it would go to script. He was entitled to do that off his rating of 118," said Murphy. "I'm sure sure where we'll go with him now and I'll see what the lads say but I'd imagine we'll wheel on away with him. "I'm not sure if he'll go chasing sooner or later but he wants a fence and three miles plus would be up his alley." It was Murphy's first winner since Cara's Oscar scored at Fairyhouse in April and he added:- "It's a lonely place when you're not having winners."
