Champion trainer Willie Mullins completed an across-the-card double today, travelling directly from Leopardstown to Wexford to witness Dancing City 's roundabout path to a first victory, in the southern course's Irish Stallion Farms EBF Bumper.

The point-to-point winner was beaten half a length, as 1/5 favourite, in last year's renewal at Wexford and today, on his first run for 364 days, started 4/7 favourite and scored under Patrick Mullins, beating Littlefoot by that same winning margin.

Trainer Mullins, whose Parmenion had won at Leopardstown, joked “eventually! A year later!

“He (Dancing City) did it well, it took him a while to get going but he was staying on the whole way to the line. The first and second are two nice horses.

“I doubt he will go to Cheltenham now and we'll try to find a winners bumper for him at home.”

Mullins was accompanied by his mother Maureen Mullins at both meetings and added “the new motorway is a big help."
