Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh completed a quick double this afternoon after winning The Goffs Slaney Novice Hurdle Grade 2 with the consistent Mikael D'Haguenet
Walsh settled his mount in behind the leaders, improved to challenge 2 out, led at last and kept on well to win by 3 ? lengths.
Mullins afterwards said, "I'm delighted with how he jumped and quickened when he had to. I'm very pleased and have no real plans for him. If I can find a nice race for him in February I'll run him but I'm very lucky to have a few nice horses and I don't want them to clash just yet. The Deloitte And Touche Novice Hurdle Grade 1 is an obvious choice for him but I also have to consider Hurricane Fly for that. As regards Cheltenham if the ground comes up quick we probably won't bring him."
