The 11/8 joint-favourite Largy Hill won the Limerick bumper under Jody Townend to give Wille Mullins his seventh winner of the afternoon after almost going through the card at Leopardstown where he sent out six winners.

In front at the end of the back straight, the Flemensfirth gelding stayed on well in the straight to beat fellow joint-favourite Harveys Point by an emphatic nine and a half lengths.

The five-year-old, placed in a point-to-point for the Crawfords, had finished fifth when odds-on for a Cork bumper in April. His win completed a good day for owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede after Blue Lord s impressive Grade One win at Leopardstown.

Winning rider Jody Townend said: "He was green in Cork and also had excuses afterwards (finished lame) but he made up for it today. He is a big galloper and I'd say he will want further in time.

"He is all stamina so winning a bumper is a bonus with him and he enjoyed that ground.

"I got my birthday winner also!"
