Moore doubles up on Minella Fair Jonathan Moore bookended the card at Limerick with success on Minella Fair in the concluding beginners' chase. The race wasn't without incident for the jockey, though, as he overcame a slipped saddle. A nimble jump at the second last saw his mount move clear of Cracking Smart who soon came under pressure. Minella Fair bounded away for a comfortable victory by eight and a half lengths at 5/2. Cracking Smart, the 4/6 favourite, kept on at one pace for second. Jonathan Moore said: "Last season he never got his ground but this year if we have a proper winter there'll be loads of fun to be had with him. Hopefully he can be very smart. "I didn't really notice my saddle had slipped until I pulled up but I was just making sure my lead bag was there. It went right back." Moore was filling in for Sean Flanagan who is out of action for a short period after a fall at Downpatrick on Friday. Moore won the opener on Darver Star for Gavin Cromwell.
