Trainer Jack Davison reports his star sprinter Mooneista on course for the Group 1 Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh on Champions Weekend.

The Dandy Man filly ran a career best when fourth in the Kings Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot in June, before just getting touched off by Ladies Church in the Sapphire Stakes last time.

Jack Davison said; “She’s good and it’s all systems go for the Flying Five. She’ll do a racecourse gallop on Saturday after racing and is in great form.

“We strongly considered running her at Naas last weekend (in the Group 3 Ballyogan Stakes) but she was showing signs of being in season in the week leading up to it.

“I wanted everything to be right and the ground was quick enough as well.

“If she needs another racecourse gallop after Saturday we’ll have time for that as well. She’s done well, she got big and put on weight.”
