Marc Monaghan rode his third winner when bringing through the progressive Goldplated with a sweeping late charge down the outside to land the concluding Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Handicap at Leopardstown.
Just five days after a Galway success, the thorough staying daughter of Selkirk looked a forlorn hope as they approached the business end but under her feather-weight the chestnut three-year-old stormed home to beat Asiya by a length and a quarter.
Winning trainer John Murphy said: "She is getting better and better. She is progressing and keeps finding more.
"We were worried about running her back quickly but she seems to have a great appetite for it.
"Young Marc gave her a perfect ride. I was a bit worried that he'd get trapped coming around the bend but when he pulled her out she quickened up well.
"She stays forever and she is in the Group 3 Park Hill Stakes at Doncaster next week. That'll probably come too soon though."
