Molloy stars for Irish team Bobby Molloy put the Irish team firmly back in control in the Australia vs Ireland Jumping Challenge when he rode the winners of both the chase and the hurdle at the Adelaide city track, Morphettville, earlier today.Favourite Sinabhuil landed the chase for the 18-year-old Irish jockey, beating Noah Yarn by four lengths with Tom Ryan finishing third on Supra Cobra. Denis O´Regan and Andrew McNamara drew outsiders and finished fourth and fifth.Molloy earned his place on the team by winning the J P McManus sponsored Martinstown Opportunity Series, and followed up his initial Australian win with success on 4/1 chance Observer for Eric Musgrove in the hurdle.Galway Plate winning rider Denis O´Regan completed a 1-2 for the Irish side when he finished second aboard Classic Coup. It was only the Melbourne-trained winner´s second start over hurdles. ´I had to get after him but he stayed on well´, said a delighted Molloy en route to the airport.The Irish team are on a high now with the famed Warrnambool their Sunday venue with much stronger opposition in the scheduled hurdle and chase there.
