Miss doubles up on Flat Missunited continued in fine form to record her third win of the summer in the 50-80 handicap at Clonmel. Michael Winters' charge was making her handicap debut on the level, following a maiden success at Ballinrobe last week. Seamus Heffernan sent his mount to the front two furlongs outs, taking over from front-runner Circumstances. The Golan mare galloped on strongly in the closing stages to record a two-length success over Tiffilia, who stayed on for second. The 9/2 winner (from 4/1) had won a maiden hurdle at Listowel in June before turning her attention to the level and is now two from three on the Flat. "We just got away with the ground. Seamie said she's a mare that puts it all in and that she's superfit. The run in Ballinrobe the last day brought her on," said Winters. "She's entered at Galway next Tuesday, in a winners of one hurdle, and she'll run if the ground is safe. The uphill finish will suit her. "Once the horses are healthy and right we may as well keep firing." The mare was recording her fifth win in all for Kanturk owner/breeder Vanessa Hutch having also landed two bumpers. Winter also had news of stable-star Rebel Fitz:- "He's jumping out of his skin and the plan is to run at Tipperary (October 7th) providing the ground is right." (On course reporting by Alan Magee)
