Miranda's Girl hit the headlines with two wins at last year's Galway Festival and the daughter of Titus Livius bounced back to her very best when running away with the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Handicap under Rory Cleary.
The 11/2 favourite, as usual sporting cheek-pieces, had her rivals toiling in her wake from over a furlong out going on to score by an easy six lengths.
Tom Cleary, father of the winning rider and trainer of the filly, said: "She was third in this race last year. We needed that winner. My son Paul, who looks after her, got married on Saturday so it's a nice present for him. It is a bonus to win at our local track and the owners are local too. She'll go to Galway and the Tote Mile is a possibility."
