The opening race this evening at Bellewstown, the Irish Portable Cottages Nursery was won by the Kevin Prendergast trained Midnight Mover under Declan McDonogh for owner Joseph McGrath.
The winning connections had to survive a Stewards Enquiry as Midnight Mover got a little close to the favourite Money Trader in the closing stages of the race.
Winning owner Joseph McGrath said afterwards: “The ground is very slow out there but it helped us and Declan said she battled very well.”
