Review TRALEE 3RD JUN

All Right Clark rewarded the patience of trainer Noel Glynn when making light of the testing conditions with a facile success in the Ballybeggan Racegoers Club Handicap Chase at Tralee.

'He's had a lot of leg problems, and broke down last year, but I've always had faith in him. He finished second to Monty's Pass in a beginners chase a couple of years ago,' said the jubilant permit-holder afterwards.

Hayley Cometh survived a stewards enquiry after swooping late to take the Fenit Mares Novice Hurdle.

Shay Barry was advised to make a greater effort to keep a straight course in future after his mount edged left on the run-in, appearing to hamper third-placed Sherwani.

Trainer Tim Doyle described the mare as 'an honest sort, who tries hard'. 'She probably handled the soft ground a bitter better than the others,' he added.

Outsiders Danikar and Ardkilly Cailin fought out the finish of the Denny Handicap Chase, with the latter securing a last-gasp triumph after her rival had drifted badly right in the closing stages.

Pat Verling, rider of the runner-up was given a three-day suspension for hitting his mount in the wrong place.

Favourite Dodger Nash damaged the penultimate fence so badly when unseating his rider two out that the obstacle had to be omitted in the remaining two chases.
