Celtic Warrior looks to have a bright future over hurdles after making a winning debut over timber at Thurles on Thursday.
Liam Roche's charge made the perfect start to his jumping career when making all for a convincing success in the Cahir 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle.
The Celtic Swing gelding was tackled by Mine'sasmallone turning for home but asserted before the last for a four-length verdict.
'He may go for a grade 3 hurdle at Fairyhouse (December 2nd) next and then we'll aim for something over Christmas,' said winning trainer Liam Roche.
'We had him in mind as a hurdler since he was a two-year-old. He had a few problems at the start of this season and we're just getting them sorted out. He handles any ground and gets the trip well.'
Omas Glen quickened away smartly after the last to claim the Clonoulty Hurdle in good style.
Andrew Leigh produced the Cecil Ross-trained mare to lead at the last and she went on to score by nine lengths from Could Do, who finished strongly to grab second from Sorrentina close home.
'I didn't think she'd handle the ground. We'll see how she comes out of that and look for a winners race over Christmas,' said Ross. 'She jumps well and we'll look forward to going over fences next year.'
Conor Maxwell partnered his second winner when Dosco ran out a cosy winner of the Templemore Handicap Chase.
The Dubliner, who had got off the mark at Cork on Sunday, claimed his first success over fences when delivering the Dessie Hughes trained gelding to lead two and beat Benefit Night by six lengths.

Tom Taaffe's gelding looked to have the measure of his rival after heading him two out. He was left to come home eight lengths clear of Alexander Taipan.
'He jumped impeccably. I'm delighted for the owners Mary and Andy Hally. It's their first horse and first winner,' said Taaffe.
'We'll possibly go for a winners of one and see what the handicapper does - that'll be the road for him. We'll pick something out over Christmas for him.'
Emma Jane proved game in front when claiming the INH Stallion Owners EBF Novice Hurdle, staying on to score by two-and-a-half lengths from Nancy Wake.
Kashnito D'Hommee could turn out again at the track next week after a battling performance in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle.
