Bachasson was one of three winners for Willie Mullins as the Muine Bheag-handler enjoyed a fine day at Sligo.

The French import was making his first start for Mullins in the Pet Stop Maiden Hurdle and had little trouble in justifying 4-11 favouritism, jumping well throughout before easing away to win by six and a half lengths.

Mulllins had further reason to cheer as Long Dog (2-7 fav) ran out a similarly impressive 12 length winner of the GAA Race Day 18th August Maiden Hurdle while Fugi Mountain completed the treble with a three and a quarter length victory in the Sligo Rovers Race Day 5th August Flat Race.

Miss Dinamic (2-5 fav) made it two wins on the bounce when landing the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Novice Hurdle in terrific style.

The recent Cartmel winner was quickly sent into the lead by Jack Kennedy and never looked in any real danger thereafter, producing a fine round of hurdling before stretching six and a half lengths clear on the run-in.

Coldstonesober (11-2) continued his recent upturn in form when seeing off Ellie Mia by a length and a half in the Students Day 30th September Handicap Hurdle while Kennedy chalked up his second winner of the afternoon when steering Urban Dusk (8-1) to a two length success in the Ladies Day At Sligo 6th August Handicap Hurdle.

The Guinness Opportunity Handicap Hurdle provided a memorable finish as Mr Mulliner produced an astonishing late surge to get up in the shadows of post.

The 9-2 victor wasn't even in the frame as Holeinthewall Bar skipped clear to apparently put the race to bed after the last but the six-year-old began eat up the ground in the closing stages and flew home to land the spoils by three quarters of a length.
