Review leopardstown 7th Aug Eye Of The Storm gave Aidan O'Brien back-to-back wins in the Ballyroan Stakes at Leopardstown on Thursday evening. The winner was sent off a 7-4 favourite to follow up Ernest Hemmingway's victory 12 months earlier and was soon dictating matters under Joseph O'Brien.Closely tracked by Roheryn, he was unable to shake of that rival when O'Brien push on entering the home straight and the front two pulled clear.Eye Of The Storm was asked serious questions by Dermot Weld's charge but was never headed and held on for a half-length verdict, with Streetcar To Stars doing good late work to grab third.O'Brien was completing a double having already ridden Illusive (100-30) to victory in the Foxrock Maiden. He kicked clear on the Galileo colt turning for home and already had the race in the bag when First Sitting came with a late rattle to get within three-quarters of a length of the Ballydoyle runner.Vert De Grece had to work hard to justify 5-4 favouritism in the opening Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Maiden.Well supported following a promising debut second here in June, the son of Verglas left it late but got going in the closing stages to deny the trailblazing Hail The Hero by a neck.Amazing Star (12-1) showed an impressive turn of foot when winning the Leopardstown Summer Membership Handicap.Seamus Hefffernan was patient in waiting for gap up the home straight and the winner picked up in style once there was daylight to come home three lengths clear of Al Fahidi.Local Flier (7-1) stole a march on his rivals entering the home straight to score with ease in the 'Johnny Marr' Handicap, finishing four and quarter lengths clear of Texas Rock who got up for second. The Tony Martin-trained Cassells Rock made virtually every yard when landing the Dublin Racing Club At Leopardstown Handicap by a length from Money Spider.
