Dylan Browne McMonagle grabbed a quick double at Dundalk this evening, landing both division of the 47-65 mile handicap when partnering Coviglia to success in the second heat.
The Charlie Moore-trained grey was held up in the early stages of the contest before being asked to take closer order early in the straight.
He stayed on well inside the final furlong to claim The Bog Bank in the final 100 yards and record a length-and-a-half win.
The 11/2 winner had scored over course and distance back in March and been running consistently in the money over the summer.
Moore said: - “He's a great horse, he's consistent and runs his race all the time.
“He loves it here, he won here back in March. He ran a bad race the next day and we gave him a wee break and he's been in the prize money every time he's run since.
“Dylan is a great young fella. He comes out of the stalls slow, it's a fault he has, but he got there in the end.
“He'll probably keep on the going but I don't like to run him too often, maybe every three or four weeks.”
