Willie McCreery reports his star filly Insinuendo on track to make her reappearance towards the end of the summer, having deliberately missed the last couple of months.
A Group 2 winner at the Curragh last July, the daughter of Gleneagles made a pleasing return when second to Mother Earth in March but has been absent since then.
McCreery said, “We think she needs a bit of ease in the ground so we decided to miss the summer and give her a bit of time. She got a bit jarred last year.
“We’ll give her another month off and aim for the backend Group 1’s. We might have to travel with her and then hopefully sell her at the end of the year.
“A mile and a quarter is a good trip for her and we might look at America towards the end of the year as well.”
