It's Irish Grand National day and one horse in the big race is attracting early euro. John Kiely's Carlingford Lough lurking down at the lower end of the weights, has been cut from 14/1 to 10/1.
Questions Answered is an early non runner in the feature at 4.50.
Elsewhere at Fairyhouse, Arthur Moore's Pass The Hat is very popular in the Grade B novice handicap chase at 5.25. Bookmakers have seen sustained support from 8/1 to 4/1.
In the champion point-to-point flat race at 4.10 one outsider being backed is Blow The Doors Off - 25/1 to 16/1. Kilcarry Bridge has shortened to 9/1 from 12s Vics Canvas (6/1 to 4/1) and Brian Who (12/1 to 9/1) are seeing money in the Irish Field Handicap Hurdle at 3.10. Clashnabrook is strong in the 5.55. Eoghan O'Grady's charge is 8/1 from 12/1.
In Cork, Isourbell has been backed to land the mares maiden hunters chase at 2.30. She has contracted to 7/1 from early trading at 12s. Tip For The Top is 7s from 9s in the same race.
In the opener at 2pm, Sean O'Brien's Wedding Present has hardened from 5/4 to 4/5 though there are currently three non runners in that contest. De Benno with Mikey Fogarty booked, has been cut to 10/1 from 20/1 in the handicap hurdle at 3pm. Captain Luke with recent form figures of PP0P has found supporters at Ladbrokes who have shortened him to 16/1 from 25/1.
There are quite a few early non runners in Cork so it is worth checking before placing your bets.
