A couple of Jessica Harrington-trained horses have been backed ahead of today’s meeting at Gowran where the updated going description is good, yielding in places. Aesop fourth in the Ulster Derby, has shortened from 11/2 to 3/1 in the 2.00, while stablemate St Clerans has come in for support in the 3.30 and is now 2/1 from 7/2.

The opening 7f handicap at 1.00 looks highly competitive and the market has been lively.

Third at the Curragh last weekend, Tom Gibney’s Imposing Supreme is one that has attracted support from as big as 25/1 into 9/1.
