Mandatario settles issue quick Only four went into battle for the 32Red.com Race over two miles and it was favourite Mandatario that came out on top in the third at Dundalk. Kevin Manning brought Mandatario through from the back and he went second a furlong out. The Manduro horse headed Shalaman a hundred yards out before going on for a length and a quarter win. Manning said of the Mrs June Judd-owned and Jim Bolger-trained winner: "He had some very good runs and we always thought quite a bit of him. "He'd run well over shorter and he settled well. "I thought he would get the trip and that he'd have too much pace for those. "He went through the motions and when I asked him to quicken he done it in two strides." (GC & EM)
