Lynch and Rhythm get there at last There usually wouldn't be time to switch from the rail to four horses wide from over a furlong out at Dundalk. Fergal Lynch is a serious rider though and he executed the manoeuvre beautifully as He's Got Rhythm landed the Fundraising Made Easy At Dundalk Handicap. The gambled-on Eastern Rules (8s this morning into 7/2) probably raced a bit too strongly in the hands of Shane Foley and that ultimately couldn't have helped him as he was worn down in the closing stages by He's Got Rhythm who prevailed by half a length. Lynch said of David Marnane's great old campaigner (gaining his seventh success): "I thought the handicapper had him. I've been second on him a few times. "I was actually second on him as a two-year-old at Musselburgh so I'm glad to have won on him at last. "David's horses are in great form and I hope it keeps rolling." (GC & EM)
