The Patrickswell Community Council Handicap provided a thrilling finish with the Eddie Lynam trained Pussyfooting under Declan McDonogh getting up in the closing stages to win by a short head.
Lynam commented, "It wasn't out of turn that she won, I've had 7 seconds and I thought this was going to be my 8th, but I'm a bad judge and the commentator got it spot on. I'm driving home with the owner so I might get a bag of chips out of it."
