The 29 runner Jondol Furniture Handicap at The Curragh today, went to the Tracey Collins trained Lough Mist which made virtually all, under stable jockey Pat Shanahan.
Afterwards Collins stated “Lough Mist returned to her best two year old form there but she can be a difficult ride.”
She added “she is difficult around horses so we made the running and Pat (Shanahan) judged the pace of the race to perfection. It may sound unusual, granted she has now won twice on good ground, but I'd say she'd prefer a softer surface.”
